Job Summary

Join a leading construction company as a Gravel Truck Driver in Rocky View, AB. We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking individuals to operate and maintain heavy-duty trucks used for transporting gravel and other construction materials. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and drive straight-body and articulated dump trucks
• Transport gravel, stone, and construction materials to designated locations
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections (tires, lights, brakes, etc.)
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Maintain truck functionality through regular preventive maintenance
• Report to central dispatch and follow routing instructions
• Ensure cargo safety and secure loads according to regulations

Job Requirements

Languages:

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Prior truck driving experience is an asset but not mandatory

Licenses & Certifications:

• Must hold a valid Class 3 or D Driver’s License

Specialized Skills:

• Experience with stone slinger trucks is a plus

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Travel Requirements:

• Local travel only (no overnight or long-haul driving)
