Job Description

Qualifications

Language Requirement: English

Education:
Completion of high school (secondary school graduation certificate).

Experience:
2 to 3 years of hands-on welding experience is required.

Workplace Arrangement:
This is a fully on-site position. Remote work options are unavailable.

Work Environment

• Outdoors
• Heights
• Confined spaces
• Dusty and noisy conditions

Primary Responsibilities

As a welder, your daily tasks will include:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, manuals, and welding procedures.
• Operating manual, semi-automatic, or fully automated welding equipment.
• Ensuring welds comply with specified standards and requirements.
• Using flame-cutting tools and oxygen arc-cutting equipment.
• Performing fitting, brazing, and torch-straightening of metals.
• Utilizing hoisting and lifting equipment safely.
• Conducting minor maintenance and repairs on welding machinery and tools.
• Fabricating and repairing metal parts with pre-set welding machines.

Specialized Skills & Techniques

Welding Techniques:

• Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW)
• Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
• Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
• Flux core arc welding (FCAW)

Equipment Expertise:

• Arc welding machines
• Gas welding machines
• Spot welding machines

Areas of Specialization:

• Structural construction
• Machinery or equipment repair

Additional Requirements

Transportation:

• Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
• Public transportation is unavailable.

Physical Demands:

• Fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks.
• Handling heavy materials (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs).
• Physically demanding, requiring focus and attention to detail.

Required Tools:

• Steel-toed safety boots
• Welding helmet
