Position Summary
MST Rebar Inc., a leading name in industrial solutions, is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our on-site operations team in Woodbridge, Ontario. This is a hands-on role requiring technical precision and proactive maintenance practices to ensure optimal performance of heavy-duty industrial equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 🎓 Education: Trade certification, diploma, or relevant vocational training
- 🛠️ Experience: Minimum 2 years and up to 3 years in mechanical maintenance or related field
- 🌐 Language Proficiency: English (Fluent)

- ⚙️ Type of Work: Equipment installation, mechanical setup, maintenance & repair of industrial machinery
Key Responsibilities
As our Maintenance Mechanic, you will:
- Disassemble and rebuild industrial equipment and systems
- Set up, install, and align mechanical machinery
- Conduct routine inspections and proactive maintenance
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot malfunctions
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and mechanical diagrams
- Instruct apprentices and provide on-the-job guidance
- Replace damaged components and fabricate necessary parts for maintenance
- Operate and maintain tools including welding machines, grinders, and power tools
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during mechanical operations
Specialized Skills and Equipment Experience
🧪 Welding Techniques
- Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG / GTAW)
- Oxy-Acetylene Welding (OAW)
⚡ Machinery & Tools
- Electrical/electronic control systems
- Pneumatic/hydraulic systems
- Stationary engines & gas compressors
- Lathes, grinders, press brakes
- Welding units and industrial tools
- Monorails, forklifts & machining instruments
