Job Details For Landscape Worker Jobs 2025
- Location: Kelowna, BC, V1X 7R1
- Work Setting: On-site at various locations across urban and residential areas
- Salary: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
- Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week
- Employment Type: Seasonal, Full-time
- Work Schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day (Overtime available)
- Start Date: January 3, 2026
- Vacancies: 10 positions available

Language Requirement
- English: Required for effective communication and safety coordination on-site.
Education and Experience
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of related landscaping or outdoor work experience is preferred, but training will be provided to suitable candidates.
Work Setting
This position involves outdoor work across various locations in Kelowna and surrounding areas. Employees will work in both residential and commercial settings, participating in landscaping installation, maintenance, and enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a Landscape Worker at United Landscapes, you will contribute to the creation and upkeep of beautiful outdoor environments. Your daily tasks may include:
- Landscape Construction and Maintenance:
- Assist in various landscaping projects including site preparation and installation.
- Lay sod or seed to establish new lawns.
- Spread topsoil, mulch, gravel, and other materials for landscaping projects.
- Plant Care and Horticultural Tasks:
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees as directed.
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain healthy growth.
- Assist in pruning shrubs and trees to promote shape and structure.
- Perform tree removal and garden bed maintenance as required.
- Groundskeeping Duties:
- Rake leaves and collect refuse to maintain clean, attractive grounds.
- Remove litter and garbage from work areas.
- Maintain lawns, gardens, and pathways in excellent condition.
- Support Tasks:
- Operate manual and powered landscaping equipment safely.
- Assist senior technicians and supervisors with on-site projects.
- Follow all safety regulations and work procedures carefully.
Work Environment and Conditions
- Outdoor work in varied weather conditions (sun, rain, or cold).
- Fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Tasks may include bending, kneeling, crouching, and lifting heavy materials.
- Work under tight deadlines with a focus on detail and precision.
Required Tools and Equipment
- Personal Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and gloves are mandatory.
- Company may provide or reimburse certain equipment and safety gear as needed.
