Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: No prior experience required, but considered an asset

Workplace Details

• Environment: Non-smoking, scent-free
• Setting: Employer’s home; work will be conducted at the employer’s residence

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the household during parents’ absence
• Handle light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
• Shop for groceries and household necessities
• Accompany the family on trips and assist with childcare and housekeeping
• Wash, iron, and press clothes and household linens
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
• Implement discipline as per parental instructions
• Teach children personal hygiene and social skills
• Ensure a safe and healthy home environment
• Plan and organize recreational activities, including games and outings
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Supervise and care for children
• Transport children to and from school or appointments
• Support children’s emotional well-being
• Assist with homework and school projects

Certifications Required

• Emergency child care first aid and CPR

Specialized Experience

• Age Groups:

  • Toddlers (1-3 years)
  • School-age children (6-12 years)

Additional Information
