Key Responsibilities

As a Food Counter Attendant at Kernels Popcorn, you will help provide an enjoyable and efficient experience for customers. Key duties include:

• Customer Service: Taking customer orders, serving them at counters, and answering questions about products.
• Food Preparation: Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, including packaging and portioning food for take-out.
• Inventory Management: Keeping records of food quantities used, stocking refrigerators, and maintaining salad bars.
• Kitchen Cleaning: Sanitizing kitchen surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and equipment; handling and storing cleaning products safely.
• General Upkeep: Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies, removing garbage, and sweeping and mopping floors to ensure a clean workspace.

Physical Requirements

The role is active and physical, suited to someone comfortable with:

• Standing for Extended Periods: Shifts involve long hours on your feet.
