Qualifications and Requirements

• Language: English proficiency required.
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma needed.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of farm experience preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

As a Farm Worker at Greatland Farms LTD., you will be involved in essential farm activities, including:

• Field Preparation: Clearing fields of stones and wood, preparing for planting.
• Crop Maintenance: Planting, cultivating, irrigating, and weeding crops as needed to ensure healthy growth.
• Fertilizing and Spraying: Applying fertilizers and pesticides to crops, following safe and effective methods.
• Harvesting: Hand harvesting vegetables and other produce with care.
• Farm Maintenance: Greenhouse cleaning, seed cutting, and general farm upkeep.
• Machinery Operation: Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery to assist in farm tasks.
• Staff Management: Supervising general farm workers and assisting in training new hires when needed.
• Safety Procedures: Implementing and following farm safety and biosecurity protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role ideal for candidates who enjoy working outdoors. The job involves:

• Physical Stamina: Working with crops, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Outdoor Work: Exposure to various weather conditions, as the role is entirely on-site.
• Safety Awareness: Following safety procedures while handling machinery and applying fertilizers or pesticides.
