About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic Farm Hands to join our Farming Team at our Toowoomba-based farms in Athol, Wyreema, and Cambooya. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the humane care and treatment of our poultry, in line with Inghams’ values.
This role offers flexible shift patterns, including occasional weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Treat all livestock humanely and adhere to Inghams’ Minimum Standard Procedures
- Handle, process, and inspect chickens safely and systematically, meeting quality standards
- Perform manual tasks, including lifting 5-15kg
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition
- Identify and report any issues related to Animal Welfare, Food Safety, or workplace hazards
- Actively participate as a respectful and reliable team member

- Strong understanding and ability to follow instructions and company standards
- Proven teamwork skills with a commitment to reliability and punctuality

Important Notes:
Due to quarantine protocols, applicants cannot be considered if they regularly come into contact with pigs or birds or if they live with someone who works in poultry or pig operations.
