Overview

Language Requirement: English

Education:

• Certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Specialization in Diesel Mechanics Technology or Technician preferred.

Experience:
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience required.

Work Description

This position requires on-site work, with no remote options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in equipment.
• Inspect machinery for faults or malfunctions.
• Use computerized tools and testing equipment to assess repair needs.
• Source and maintain an inventory of parts.
• Adjust, repair, or replace faulty equipment components.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance reports and records.
• Conduct performance tests on repaired equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Assemble components and fine-tune new farming equipment.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance.
• Repair heavy trucks and other farming machinery.
• Handle other general maintenance tasks as required.

Transportation and Travel:

• Employer-provided vehicle available.

Work Environment:

• Physically demanding tasks.

• Heavy load handling (up to 45 kg or 100 lbs).
