Work Environment:
All work must be carried out at the designated job sites — remote work is not an option. Projects span both residential and commercial locations.
Language Requirements:
English proficiency is required.
Educational Background:
Applicants must hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent certification.
Required Experience:
Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in drywall installation or finishing is needed.
Role Summary:
We are currently seeking skilled drywall workers to join our expanding team at ARROW DRYWALL. You will handle various drywall tasks for diverse projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and smooth installations across different sites.
Key Duties:
- Apply multiple coats of joint compound and sand seams and joints for a flawless finish.
- Cut, shape, and attach metal corner guards to secure outer corners.
- Build and fit suspended metal ceiling grids and insert panels for coffered or soundproof ceilings.
- Fill nail holes, cracks, and seams with compound using professional tools like trowels and broad knives.
- Accurately measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to fit various spaces.
- Fix drywall panels onto wooden or metal frames, studs, or joists securely.
- Evenly smooth surplus compound and let each layer dry properly.
- Use taping machines to cover seams, embedding tape into compound for a seamless look.
Physical Demands:
You should be able to lift and handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
