Job Overview
ONETWO STOP PORTABLE SANITATION INC. is hiring a reliable and experienced Cesspool Cleaner to join our sanitation team. This role is physically demanding and involves working with heavy industrial equipment in outdoor and occasionally harsh environments. We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and previous experience in sanitation or industrial cleaning.

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

Work Environment
This role requires working outdoors in various conditions, including wet, noisy, dusty, and dirty environments. Experience with heavy equipment and high-strength cleaning methods is beneficial. Applicants must be comfortable handling physically demanding tasks and working in fast-paced conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Cleaning Machines: Utilize cleaning equipment to maintain cleanliness of tanks, chimneys, building exteriors, and industrial equipment.
• Stock Transfer and Packing: Transfer stock to truck tanks and pack stock in designated containers.
• Operate Heavy Equipment: Use specialized heavy machinery for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Safety Monitoring: Maintain high safety standards and monitor safety conditions at all times.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is in good working condition, performing light repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Standards Development: Assist in developing health and safety protocols.
• Chemical Applications: Apply chemicals and solutions for deep cleaning as required.
• Light Cleaning Duties: Perform additional cleaning duties on machines and equipment.

Specialized Skills and Technical Experience

• Technical Expertise: Sanitation and hygiene knowledge essential.
• Machinery Experience: Proficient in using industrial cleaning equipment, such as chemical cleaning devices, power sweepers, pressure washers, and steam cleaners.
• Cleaning Experience: Background in cleaning industrial equipment, drains, septic tanks, and waste disposal systems is advantageous.

Additional Requirements

• Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
• Transportation/Travel: Must have own transportation; however, employer-provided transportation is available.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift over 45 kg (100 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks, standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Personal Protective Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots required.
