Position Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Manager based in Montréal, QC (H2V 4G3). This is an on-site, full-time permanent role offering a competitive hourly wage of $35.00, with a 40-hour workweek. Multiple shifts are available, including day, evening, night, weekends, and early mornings. Start date: Immediate.

Key Qualifications
Language Requirement:
- English proficiency
Education & Experience:
- Trade certification or diploma, or relevant equivalent background
- Minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of related management experience
Work Location:
- This position requires you to work at the physical site; remote work is not available.
Setting:
- Busy urban area
- Manage budgets up to $100,000
Core Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Manager, your duties will include:
- Creating and managing the restaurant’s budget, covering food costs, beverages, ingredients, and cleaning supplies
- Overseeing and assessing daily restaurant operations
- Adjusting food preparation techniques and menu pricing in line with budget constraints
- Tracking revenue streams and controlling labour expenses
- Monitoring and guiding staff performance
- Planning and coordinating day-to-day activities
- Recruiting, training, and scheduling team members
- Supervising a team of 5 to 10 employees
- Establishing service offerings and enforcing operating procedures
- Managing cash flow, preparing balance sheets, and completing financial forms
- Conducting employee evaluations and performance assessments
- Costing out products and services
- Handling inventory and ensuring proper stock levels
- Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety standards
- Negotiating with suppliers for food and other stock
- Addressing and resolving customer concerns or complaints
- Delivering excellent customer service
Technical Skills
Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Spreadsheets
