Position Summary

Evalex Contracting Corporation is hiring skilled wall and ceiling installers to work on various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are detail-oriented and experienced in drywall installation, plastering, and finishing.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Language: English proficiency required
• Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma needed
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in a relevant role

Workplace Details:

• This is an on-site position; remote work is not available.
• Work will take place at multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and guide apprentices in installation techniques
• Apply multiple coats of joint compound and sand surfaces for a smooth finish
• Level and smooth plaster coats on walls and ceilings
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and priming
• Cure newly plastered surfaces to ensure durability
• Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets
• Secure drywall to wooden or metal studs and joists
• Install insulation, vapor barriers, and suspended ceilings
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and technical specifications
• Estimate costs and materials for projects
